Mr. 1980 (23/09/2005 20:01:01) I have a feeling that this album is going to be HUGE when it's finally released and with all the attention Stevie's going to be getting, I'm sure he'll begin working on a follow-up very soon. Has anyone read that advance review on Fox News? It's the best music review I've read in a while. The album's not even out yet and he's already blowing people away! And after ten years, I'm SURE Stevie's got enough material to begin a solid follow-up. Something tells me this is going to be a Prince-like comeback, so I've got my fingers crossed! Cliff (23/09/2005 16:43:57) Yeah, whatcha gonna do (sigh)... Dave B (23/09/2005 15:40:09) Cliff! As nice as it is to "hope" that a followup to ATTL would be coming soon I believe that it won't happen! Keep in mind that Stevie puts out music once every 8-10yrs! On top of that keep in mind that it takes approx 1-2 yrs for Stevie to actually release music after the release date is announced! All in all I think it is a nothing more than a dream to think there will be a followup to ATTL before say the year 2013. Unfortunate but this is the pattern that he has established. Later, Summer Soft Dave B Cliff (23/09/2005 12:48:50) OK, can someone please enlighten me? Will the album be available to download as from itunes, Napster etc - OR will it be sold as the actual cd album with cover/inserts etc. available from 'online stores' like Amazon? Or both? By the way, Mr 1980, at the risk of all of us getting carried away, let's hope that your tracklist idea isn't too distant a dream. If Stevie's marketing crew had any sense, they'd release a follow-up to ATTL pronto! Anyone remember the good old days when Motown used to release albums on the back of just one single? Ah, I wish those days could come back once more... Ben F (23/09/2005 07:25:55) mr.1980, try limewire, its free also. www.limewire.com Paula (23/09/2005 06:28:00) I found it Thanks you Paula (23/09/2005 06:25:19) I would like the lyrics to "As" on the Songs In The Key of Life Thanks Mr. 1980 (23/09/2005 05:41:04) By the way, I just read on WalMart.com that Walmart is giving away a special card when you buy AT2L which enables you to download a BONUS SONG! Cool, huh? Mr. 1980 (23/09/2005 05:27:28) Does anyone know where exactly we'll be able to download the album from next week? I've never downloaded an album before. Where is the best place to do it? swonderful (23/09/2005 04:28:04) yes, i saw it -- been too busy to respond .. I will respond soon ... swonderful (23/09/2005 02:43:13) Hey Dan B Did you read my e-mail? I sent you e-mail (including my question) a couple of days ago. please check you mail box. thanks. steeloneder (23/09/2005 01:17:08) 'proposed track list for the next album!!!' My wife has been clamouring for "Why" and is wondering "why" it isn't on this offering. Tarik (23/09/2005 00:14:22) Im espically interested in "Keep Fooling Yourself" as a title, because it hints for me at a few things like a political anthem, or maybe about spousal abuse where the girl thinks the guy loves him and she keeps fooling herself Mr. 1980 (22/09/2005 23:22:43) Hey everyone, Now that we know what songs made (and didn't make) AT2L, here is the start of my proposed track list for the next album!!! - If The Creek Don't Rise - Keep Fooling Yourself - The Future - Spread The Love - Truth Is The Light - Only You - The Well Dan B (22/09/2005 23:10:57) Yes, that's what I'm getting at . . I used to be able to find the lyrics on the Internet (included stuff about the SLA) -- so I assume he rewrote it .. maybe not .. in any case it sounds like there must be a way to get a hold of it that doesn't cost a zillion dollars .. Cliff (22/09/2005 22:20:49) Maybe 'The Future' is on the copy he gave Oprah - imagine what that cd would be worth on ebay,,, Dan B (22/09/2005 21:31:00) It's great that it seems (very ?) likely that AT2L will drop on 10/18 .. and, I noticed that "The Future" has dropped out of the song list ... I knew the rewrite wouldn't make the cut .. though are there odd versions of AT2L that actually have "The Future" on it ... ? Talking Book (22/09/2005 16:57:16) Matt-UK, I don't agree. I think Stevie sounds great and he sings real smooth on the track with Beyonce. Matt-UK (22/09/2005 16:36:43) Jamie Foxx's version of Creepin' is CLASS thou! Matt-UK (22/09/2005 16:33:41) Very nice. Stevie dosent sound as good as he has in the past, it's got to be said. |
